Our glampsite has been chosen for its character and privacy. To ensure the wildflower orchard meadow retains its natural beauty, little development has taken place and the site is a designated car-free zone. This means that there are no paved paths to the lodges and the land is uneven in places making it unsuitable for people with limited mobility and for people requiring wheelchairs and mobility scooters. You may also find that three wheel pushchairs may be more suitable than buggies. Please also note that there is limited lighting during the evenings to protect the wildlife.

Q. What extras do you recommend we bring along?
Food – If you do not intend to do a food run as soon as you arrive, then it might be a good idea to pre-order one of our HomeCooked meals or add one of our food packs or hampers when booking so that it will be waiting for you when you arrive. Don’t forget that you will receive a free welcome food pack including fresh bread, milk, butter, eggs, tea, coffee, sparkling water and our delicious homemade flapjacks.
Entertainment – Each Spa Lodge has a smart TV and DVD and so you might like to bring along a few of your favourite DVD’s.
Toiletries – We do provide toiletries, but you might have a favourite shampoo and conditioner you want to bring along. We provide a hairdryer in each Spa Lodge but you may also wish to bring along your hair straighteners.
Clothes – Even during the summer the evenings can get chilly, so bring along some warm clothes that can be layered if needed. Socks, warm nightclothes and a pair of wellies are always useful and you will need swimwear for the hot tub. There are lots of activities to be had in our location so please ensure you bring your favourite walking boots, cycling gear and suitable clothes and waterproofs for activities such as boating, canoeing, climbing and paddle boarding along with a back pack to hold essentials such as drinking bottles.
Health & Safety – Remember to bring any prescribed medication, sun tan lotion and a torch is very useful if you plan to go out in the evenings as the glampsite has limited lighting to protect the wildlife.
